Even if you don't own a gun, chances are your neighbors do, so there are likely guns in homes your child visits. And kids are drawn to guns, like... like two things that are really drawn together. There is nothing more dangerous than curiosity without knowledge.

When it comes to kids and guns, it's essential for them to understand that guns are not toys, that they are very dangerous, and that it's often difficult to tell the difference between a real gun and a toy.

We teach kids not only everything they need to know to be safe around guns, but everything they want to know, so that they are no longer curious, and they know what they need to know to be safe. We remove the mystery and taboo, so kids can talk and learn openly. Whether or not you choose to allow your child to participate in firearms related activities is your choice, but all kids need the knowledge to keep themselves safe.
